Having trouble getting to the library?
Home Library Service can come to you.

Who is eligible?

A free service for residents of Whitehorse and Manningham who are housebound or have difficulty getting to the library.
Difficulty getting to the library may be related to chronic illness, disability, being a carer or restrictions due to aging.

Services are also available for residents of aged care facilities within Whitehorse and Manningham.

How to Join

To sign up for Home Library Service deliveries, complete our online form with your contact details and delivery preferences.

A member of our Home Library Service team will contact you to discuss your needs, advise you when we can start delivering library items to you and answer any questions you may have about the service.

Volunteering

We currently have one vacancy for a Home Library Service volunteer to assist with the delivery of this service in the Templestowe area. For further information please contact Belinda or Suzanne on 9872 8658 or email your contact details through to homelibrary@wml.vic.gov.au.

Volunteers select and/or deliver library material to Home Library Service clients.
